To the cry, Heaven responds, as if to spread your sorrows through the universe
I really have to stop doing this.
Tuesday:
My journal doesn't say that I did anything in block one, but . . . oh right. I couldn't print out my bio lab because all of the computers were taken by some class, but Marianne bought me a candy cane and I felt better.
In French Megan and I came up with a really good idea for Bellemare's Christmas present, then we were caught journal passing, but we didn't really care because our conversation was finished. We discussed the subjunctive tense and I was obviously craving coffee, because there are little Starbucks cups drawn all over one page of my notes. I took a pretty picture of the trees.

In English we were discussing good and evil in a secular sense, which became the topic of our discussions for the rest of the week. I drew some steaming hot mugs of whatever then wrote 'context' on my page twice in big bolded letters. I then drew my drawing-of-the-week, which was Evil Toast.
In bio we marked our labs and I, staying on the subject of bio, drew an Evil Toast with an arrow pointing to its excretory canal.
In art I showed Minjee and picture of Alexandre Despatie's legs, though I can't remember why, then we went back to our seats, where I started reading Lord of the Flies. There was a picture of a shirtless male on the ground, and it made its way around the room (I started it by slipping it into Krystin's sketchbook), then it came back to me. Mao and I discussed how ugly the man was, but I kept the picture, just to use as a bookmark for Lord of the Flies.
After school I sat in front of my locker and read more Lord of the Flies. Eventually I got Mikhael out of wrestling, and we ate dinner and hung out with all of the other people who were going to the opera. People were being mean to me for not wearing black and/or white, and to Mikhael for wearing jeans. I secretly laughed later, at all f the girls who were cold from wearing thin clothing or with bare legs, it being minus ten, and the guys because they were way too over-dressed in their suits. I was wearing a fuzzy green turtleneck with a black tanktop over top, a brown blazer, a brown scarf, gloves, my fifties schoolteacher, wool skirt and two pairs of nylons, light brown with dark brown overtop.

The singing was good, and so was the espresso. We gave Tena a ride home after we got back to school.
Wednesday:
I think I read a magazine in Block one. That makes sense.
French, more notes, and we got a book to read. I drew some more toast and a pipe, because Maigret fills his pipe with care, not tobacco.
In English there was more talk of good and evil, and I played a game of Spot the Evil Toast.
In bio it was a self-work day.
In art I didn't do anything. I wanted to start on my project, but I didn't think that I'd be at school the next day.
Dance was cancelled, so dad picked me up, we dropped Katie off at Newport, then we picked up mom from the train and went for dinner.
Thursday:
Read a different magazine in block one. Jas borrowed my cards, then disappeared.
French, went over the pages that we were supposed to read the night before. I was accused of not doing my homework, even though I had.
In English, more good and evil, and Hunnings read to us from the Bible. We then compared it to Lord of the Flies.
Bio, we dissected a worm. Ours didn't have a name, but it looked like we were dissecting it on top of a giant brownie.

Sam and his worm

Art, I started my project, and got about five minutes to work on it. Kind of pissed about that.
After school, went to Mikhael's. He carried me through the snow so my feet wouldn't get wet, although it was too late for that. There was some cool ninja action going on on the way to the bus stop later. I told him to make the snow disappear.
Friday:
Spent all day at Mikhael's. I arrived at the bus stop to find that he had spent the last hour shoveling the snow between the bus stop and his house. He said that if I had tunnel vision, the snow really would disappear. Sweetest thing ever.
We made lunch. Mine was awesome.
We watched the Food Network and Teletoon.
We left to go to Riverside to see a play. The 160 never came, so we took the 701 and walked the rest of the way. There was a mini play before the bigger play, and it was very good, then we saw Midsummer Night's Dream, which was also good, but I would have enjoyed it more had it been a different play, and/or had I been slightly drunk. Greg was Oberon, and was sporting an outfit that looked like gold pajamas. We met his girlfriend too, Steph.

Today:
Watching the Liberal Leadership campaign. Chretien has a very good speech. "Stephen, Steve. Can I call you Steve? Like George W?" Listing the Party's accomplishments is good too. And I like his tie. Looks like Dion's got it.
