HA!
Sally has developed an unhealthy obsession to licking the foot of my bed.
She had it before, she's been licking there and one of the office chairs for months, but lately it's become too much to bear. It has gotten to the point where it wakes me up at night, and lately I've noticed that she has begun to remove the varnish. First of all, I don't know what's in the varnish, so I don't know if it is potentially dangerous or not, and second, it took me months to get that bed. Mom lovingly stripped it and re-varnished it for me and I don't want to see that ruined. Bloody cat.
So, today I took action. Mom suggested that I put something on the end of my bed to deter her, something that tasted bad. I couldn't think of anything, so in the end I just plastic-wrapped it. It seems to be working. She doesn't want to lick it. Now I just have to think of something a little more permanent and I'll be set.
Meanwhile, Sally looks completely apalled.
